Teaching Method

Teaching takes place in a fun, playful and easily accessible form for children. For young children, teaching must be based primarily on visualization. We therefore use many aids, toys, picture books, flashcards and games. We respect children's playfulness and flightiness, we take into account children's fatigue and fluctuations in attention. During the lesson, various active and passive activities alternate: listening and practicing songs, fairy tales, movement games, competitions and art creation. Children often do not even realize that they are learning a foreign language while playing and singing. With older children, we mainly use their competitiveness, when they unwittingly absorb the necessary phrases and words during various games and competitions. We mainly converse with the oldest children and discuss grammar in a fun way.

Toddlers 20 months - 2.5 years (30-45 min. lesson)

The group is mainly aimed at toddlers, who get to know English intuitively and in a very playful way using simple songs, movement games and other natural activities for children. Here, children mainly learn to listen and understand instructions in English. The lessons are adapted to the little ones, especially their playfulness and agility. The goal is to create in children the feeling that the English language is a natural part of life. Parents actively help children in learning by copying the teacher and the child then imitates the parents.

Beginners 2.5 - 5 years (60 min. lesson)

Children get to know the language using movement-based songs, games, exercises, fairy tales and other activities. They learn to listen to language and repeat sounds. Emphasis is placed on the pronunciation and melodiousness of the language. The lesson is divided into several parts that follow each other. Individual parts are interspersed with short breaks for drinks. Parents (accompaniment) are actively involved in teaching.

Moderately advanced 5 - 7 years - preschoolers and first graders (90 min. lesson)

Individual lessons are divided into two main parts, one of which is devoted to the British method of reading and writing JOLLY PHONICS (JP1). Using this method, children systematically and playfully learn the general rules of reading in English, which will make it easier for them to study English in the future. Children will learn to recognize and write most of the 42 sounds (so it is not the English alphabet) and combine them into simple words read according to the rules. The second part is devoted to the development of the vocabulary of common topics (family, home, animals, food, etc.) as well as simple conversation on the given topics, games and competitions. Parental participation is required for children who are introduced to Jolly Phonics in the first year.

Advanced 7 - 9 years - with knowledge of JP (90 min. lesson)

Individual lessons are divided into two main parts, one of which is devoted to reading and writing. First, the children repeat all 42 sounds of JOLLY PHONICS (JP2) and we gradually develop reading texts from simple to more complex texts according to the child's ability, learning and fixing the so-called "tricky words", i.e. words that are not read according to the rules. The second part is dedicated to vocabulary development, creating simple sentences, improving pronunciation and talking about interesting topics, games and competitions. Children are already familiar with the basics of grammar in a fun way. Active participation of the escort is not required.

Advanced 9 - 12 years (90 min. lesson)

The teaching is mainly focused on creating sentences (correct English word order) and developing conversation. Individual lessons are divided into several parts, in which we continuously focus on reading, grammar, talking about interesting topics, games and competitions. Favorites include listening to popular songs with lyrics added. Active participation of the escort is not required.
